Enameling is an ancient art form that fuses glass to metal. A perfect introduction to the art of torch enameling, this is a basic class for any beginner new to enameling on copper. Various techniques are introduced and students are encouraged to create enameled pendants, components for earrings or bracelets, or even something for your home!
Prerequisite: None
Materials: Students will need to purchase the Copper Enameling class materials kit #10909 ($18 kit) at time of registration.
Kit contains:
- As many copper shapes as students can use in class
- Use of enameling powders in 20 different colors
There
are no discounts given on class materials kits. When you purchase the
kit online, please mark for store pickup. The kit will be given to you
when you come to the class.
Additional copper shapes are available for purchase. For additional
embellishments, you may choose from our large selection or bring your
own. At the end of class you will pay for any additional materials you
used for your project.
All necessary tools, including butane torches, will be provided in the class by the instructor.
