Go beyond the basic wire-wrapped loop! Learn the briolette wrap to work with beads that are top-drilled, and wire cages to add an extra pizzazz! Explore concepts of design, while using of the wire for linking & dangling in necklaces, bracelets, earrings & lariats. In this 4-hour class, not only will you learn and practice the techniques, but you will also master the techniques and leave with finished pieces! Learn to create beautiful components for bracelets, necklaces, or earrings. You can create organic or sleek designs, depending on beads used.

What you will learn:
Linking wire wraps
Designing a lariat
Wire caged beads
Prerequisite: Basic Earring & Wire Class, Wirework Necklace Class or equivalent. (Student should be familiar with making a wire wrap.) Note: If you do not know how to do a wire wrap, you can either sign up for one of the classes listed above, or take a 1-hour private lesson ($55/hr) before the class.
Materials: Students will need to purchase the Intermediate Wire class materials kit #12546 ($14.99 kit) at time of registration.
Kit includes: package of 22g wire and beads for practicing with. There are no discounts given on class materials kits. When you purchase the kit online, please mark for store pickup. The kit will be given to you when you come to the class. In addition to the kit, additional materials will be needed for your class project. Choosing your materials and designing your jewelry is part of the class. Materials for your project are not included in the class fee or class materials kit. You may choose from our large selection or bring your own. At the end of class you will pay for the materials you used for your project. All necessary tools will be provided in the class by the instructor.
