Wire Jig Patterns and Techniques

The use of wire jigs to make fancy jewelry dates back to the Roman Empire. Six centuries later – we are again using this amazing, yet simple, tool to explore unique jewelry designs for bezels, pendants, bracelets, and earrings, and even findings.

In this new creative class you will learn how to use the "Wig Jig" (a small wire jig tool with pegs) to take your metal skills up a notch and create unique beautiful jewelry pieces.  Specifically – the class will start with learning a simple technique for making cabochon bezels, and progress from there to show you tricks of the trade that you can use to create one-of-a-kind earrings, pendants, and bracelets. Once you master these simple techniques – you will be able to customize your designs, limited only by your imagination.
