From the designer: I knew early that I wanted to incorporate wire wrapping into my design as a way to practice my technique & to step outside my comfort zone. I also love jewelry that tries different things, like a different way to clasp a necklace. Inspired by a few designs I saw while researching Sundance catalog inspired jewelry, I created a necklace featuring used suede leather cord wire wrapped to a s-hook connected to a ring from a chain. I attached charms, aqua faceted glass rondelles, and a turquoise pendant, complemented with magnesite with silver beads, wire wrapped pink freshwater pearls, & turquoise ovals with rhinestone rondelle to achieve a nice gradient highlighting the turquoise.
