Description: Knotting between beads has many benefits, such as security, added length, and breathing room between beads that lets light in to reflect more beauty. On top of all that, thread color can enhance your designs or serve as a neutral space to highlight the beads. This class covers thread choices, proper tool use, adding a clasp, and of course, getting that knot right up against the bead with no extra spaces.

Student Min-Max: 3-6

Material and tools required before class: 

• 1 string of stone or glass beads 6-14mm
• Nylon that fits beads
• 2 clamshell bead tips
• 1 clasp
• G-S Hypo cement (glue) (If not using wire cutters or Thread Zapper)

The class will provide the following:

• Awl
• Knotting Tweezers (bent tip)
• Wire Cutters or Thread Zapper (glue not needed with this tool)
• G-S Hypo cement (glue)
• Measuring tape
