For over 20 years, our founder Vicki Lapp honed her love of beading, making jewelry and teaching others the craft from her dining room in Alameda before launching a brick-and-mortar shop that has become a mecca for jewelry-making and beading enthusiasts. A beaded necklace was her signature look, whether she was going for a hike or dining out with friends.
