Do you enjoy working with leather and jewelry components?  Have you wanted to learn how to create unique pieces using leather?  This ancient Japanese weaving technique called "Kumihimo" is just the class for you!  Come and learn how to create this elegant rope bracelet suitable for any gender.

Prerequisite: None

Materials: Please bring the following materials to the class:

• 4 Meters of 1.5mm leather cord
• 2 Cord Ends (with holes)
• 18 Gauge Craft Wire
• Nymo Thread
• 1 Toggle or Lobster Clasp
• Small Jump Rings (2-3)
• Assorted Beads (optional)
• Charms (optional)

Tools Required (these will not be provided):

• Kumihimo Disk
• Size 10 or 12 Beading Needle
• GS Hypo Cement

We will provide the round nose pliers, bent nose pliers, flat nose pliers & the flush cutters. Feel free to bring your own tools if you are more comfortable with those!  

Please have your materials ready when class begins. The instructor will be available 30 minutes before class begins to help you select your materials, if needed. Materials for your project are not included in the class fee. You may choose from the selection in our store or bring your own. You can also bring your own tools as well. At the end of class you will pay for the materials you used for your project.

All materials are available for purchase at 10% off for 2 weeks prior (after you sign up) and 1 week after the class. No further discounts.
