Please note: This class is for all experience levels, but Earring Fundamentals is a recommended prerequisite.

In this class you will learn to:

• Create hoop earrings from silver wire 
• Discuss jewelry design fundamentals (symmetry, movement, etc) and show example pieces
• Use hammers and bench blocks to add texture and to work-harden earrings, discuss work-hardening metal
• Discuss filing and polishing techniques for working with silver
• Add beads, charms, and/or small pieces of chain to hoops using the one-step looper/pliers
• Free design time!

Materials: Please bring the following materials to the class:

• Silver wire (sterling silver round wire, 18 and 20 gauge) - 1 Foot
• Hammer
• Rubber and steel bench blocks 

Chain nose pliers, Round nose pliers, Cutters, & the 1-step looper will be provided (feel free to bring your own if you are more comfortable!)

All materials are available for purchase at 10% off for 2 weeks prior (after you sign up) and 1 week after the class. No further discounts.
